<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting tool for firing an alumina ceramic material, the tool hardly adhering to the obtained alumina ceramic material after firing and hardly inducing reduction in the strength of the obtained alumina ceramic material. <P>SOLUTION: The supporting tool for firing an alumina ceramic material has a supporting part for firing an alumina ceramic material, the supporting part comprising a spinel-magnesia composite ceramic material essentially comprising a spinel and containing magnesia by 0.02 to 0.30 mol with respect to 1 mol of the spinel. It is preferable that the average particle diameter of the spinel is 10 μm or more and that the porosity of the supporting part for firing an alumina ceramic material is 10% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
