<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the function of a direction indicator by operating the direction indicator also with a manual switch in addition to a winker switch and a hazard switch, and thereby achieve further improved driving performance of an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: For the automobile with the direction indicator to be lit in a blinking manner by the winker switch and the hazard switch, at least one manual switch is provided by which the direction indicator is lit in a blinking manner to indicate intention to turn right or turn left and to indicate others than hazards. The direction indicator is operated in such a blinking mode as to promote a following vehicle to pass, such a blinking mode as to request the following vehicle not to come too close, or such a blinking mode as to express thanks to the following vehicle with single push. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
