<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traction device which has a simple structure and stably holds front wheels. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle traction device, a wheel holder 5 is provided in the rear part of a vehicle 2, and front wheels 7 of a towed vehicle 6 are held by the wheel holder 5. The wheel holder 5 has two arm members 21 and 21 having an interval to receive the width direction of the front wheels 7 in the right and left direction. One side of each of the arm members 21 and 21 is connected to the vehicle 2, and the other sides are connected each other to form a closed holding area 24. The lower part of the front wheels 7 is inserted into the holding area 24 and held thereby, so that the wheel holder 5 is simplified and the front wheels 7 are stably held. In addition, a dual-purpose pin 32 adjusting the interval of the wheel holder 5 in the front and back direction is provided between the right and left arm members 21 and 21 of the wheel holder 5 to be removable.
