<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely prevent fire leak while opening and closing a door of a heating furnace. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for preventing fire radiation includes: a blower 2 for shielding gas provided halfway through a flue 24 leading to an exhaust tower 23 which discharges exhaust gas from a heating furnace 10; a pipe line 3 for shielding gas which leads the exhaust gas in the flue 24 delivered by the blower 2 to the vicinity of a charging door 12 and an extraction door 14; and a nozzle 4 for shielding gas which is in communication with the pipe line 3 for shielding gas and provided to the charging door 12 and the extraction door 14 so as to inject the exhaust gas towards the slab side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
