<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive type fuel cell capable of improving power generation characteristics and power generation characteristics when liquid fuel is recharged, and a liquid fuel supply member. <P>SOLUTION: A passive type fuel cell 100 includes: a membrane electrode assembly 110 in which an electrolyte membrane 113 is held between an anode 111 and a cathode 112; and a liquid fuel supply tank 140 for supplying liquid fuel F to the anode 111. The liquid fuel supply tank 140 has a porous membrane 141 provided so as to face the anode 111.
