<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake that facilitates settings for satisfying a desired lever ratio and a desired output stroke without changing the size of a lever, and has a small number of components. <P>SOLUTION: In the parking brake 1, a cable guide 50 provided on a base member 10 guides a brake cable 100 and wound on a winding drum 40 provided on an operation lever 20 pivotally supported by the base member 10. The winding drum 40 is arranged so that a circle center A of a circular winding portion 41 thereof is eccentric from a turn center O of the operation lever 20. The winding drum 40 and the cable guide 50 are combined with each other so that a distance between a point C where the brake cable 100 leaves a circular guide part 51 of the cable guide 50 for the winding drum 40 and a point D where the brake cable 100 first contacts the winding portion 41 of the winding drum 40 is constant when the operation lever 20 is in a predetermined operation position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
