<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection device capable of preventing air bubbles from intruding into a liquid ejection head. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection device includes a liquid ejection head 2 capable of ejecting liquid introduced in a liquid flow passage through a first filter member 23 as a liquid droplet from a nozzle 34, a liquid supply member 3 which is detachably mounted with respect to the liquid ejection head 2, has a second filter member 18a connected in a state pushed to the first filter member 23, and the liquid reserved in the interior is supplied in the liquid ejection head 2 through the second filter member 18a and the first filter member 23, a sealing member 25 which can seal by surrounding a connection part of the first filter member 23 and the second filter member 18a, and a decompression unit 28 which depressurizes the internal space 26 sealed with the sealing member 25.
