<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potable water supply apparatus having a small discharge amount from a water conditioner which hardly fails. <P>SOLUTION: The potable water supply apparatus includes a control means 13 for controlling the operation of a suction pump 5 feeding potable raw water in a cassette tank 3 to the water conditioner 4 and the operation of a discharge pump 5 discharging alkaline water produced in the water conditioner 4. When starting the operation of the suction pump 5 and discharge pump 6, the control means 13 determines whether pressure in piping in a section from the suction pump 5 to the discharge pump 6 is lower than a predetermined value, and when determining that the pressure in the pipeline is lower than the predetermined value, the control means 13 starts only the suction pump 5, and then starts the operation of the discharge pump 6 after the lapse of a predetermined time. When determining that the pressure in the pipeline is the predetermined value or higher, the control means 13 starts the operation of the suction pump 5 and discharge pump 6 simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
