<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag with an extremely simple shape, precisely a so-called twin-chamber type airbag provided with a function of decreasing head injury value, and a simple manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: An occupant protection airbag including a recess on an occupant side includes an expansion panel A and a belt-like panel B and an outer edge of the expansion panel A is connected to a long side of the belt-like panel B by shirring sewing method in the occupant protection airbag. The manufacturing method for the same is also provided. It is preferable that a length of a portion connecting with the long side of the belt-like panel B in an outer edge of the expansion panel A is 1.1 times the length in the long side of the belt-like panel B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
