<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a rotary drive screw system for linearly aligning a cooperation member, such as translation nut. <P>SOLUTION: The drive screw system 10 includes a stationary track 14, a drive screw 16 so mounted as to rotate around a screw axis 20 relative to the stationary track, a nut screw-engaged with the drive screw 16 such that the nut linearly shifts its position in parallel with the screw axis in response to the rotation of the drive screw, and at least one slide bearing 32 which can move on the stationary track in parallel with the screw axis and radially supports and guides the drive screw. The slide bearing 32 has at least one first friction pad 34 which can move at least in a first direction, which is the lateral direction of the screw axis 20, relative to the slide bearing 32, and a spring means which causes the friction pad 34 to shift in the first direction relative to the stationary track 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
