<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve simplification and cost reduction of a manufacturing process, by forming a simple carburetor for further reducing the number of part items, while securing engine startability of a double main nozzle structure, in the carburetor for a general purpose engine. <P>SOLUTION: This carburetor for the general purpose engine is provided so that a main nozzle 32 suspended in a constant fuel chamber 20 under a body 1 formed with an intake passage 2, is arranged at a tip opening part in a venturi part 4 of the intake passage 2, and a fuel cutoff valve 28 of inserting a needle valve element 31 so as to be capable of advancing-retreating, is arranged under a main jet 34 communicated with the lower end or the main nozzle 32 in the constant fuel chamber 20. The needle valve element 31 for forming the cutoff valve 28 plays both roles of the valve function of a needle valve and a guiding rod of fuel in the main nozzle 32, by setting its length so that its tip is positioned upper than at least a position of a main well chamber 35 of the main nozzle 32, in a state of cutting off the fuel by inserting the needle valve element into the main jet 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
