<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact low-cost friction transmission type wave transmission that can perform a comparatively high transfer by securing wear durability without increasing rotation resistance and narrowing the deceleration ratio area. <P>SOLUTION: The friction transmission type wave transmission includes: an annular fixed member 1 whose inner periphery is circular; an annular elastic member 2 whose outer periphery can contact with the outside of the inner periphery; and a wave generator 3 that makes the outer periphery contact with the inner periphery of the annular fixed member 1 at multiple points in the circumferential direction from the inside to move the contacting parts in the circumferential direction. One end part of the annular elastic member 2 is like an open thin cylinder and the other end part is connected with an output axis 7. One end part of the annular fixed member 1 is like an open cylinder and the other end part is fixed on a housing 11 on an output axis side at the position away from the contacting part in the axis direction. The inside diameter of the annular fixed member 1 is made smaller than the maximum outside diameter of the annular elastic member 2 where the wave generator 3 is inserted inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
