<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing retainer capable of preventing a decrease in roller quanity and roller length owing to the division of a split type roller bearing retainer and further preventing a bearing load capacity decrease owing to the decrease in roller quantity and roller length. <P>SOLUTION: The retainer 10 for a roller bearing includes two circular lug sections 11 which face both ends of a roller 2 forming a roller bearing 1 and a plurality of pillars 12 which axially connect the lug sections 11, wherein a plurality of pockets for rotatably retaining the rollers are demarcated with the lug sections 11 and pillars 12 and a folding section 11a for forming one pocket 13a is formed on a set of lug sections 11 for forming at least one pocket by folding it to have an S-shaped cross section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
