<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle transfer including a sub speed reduction mechanism, a switching mechanism and a center differential, in which an axial length of an entire transfer is short. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle transfer includes a sub speed reduction mechanism, a switching mechanism and a center differential. The sub speed reduction mechanism generates rotational motion of intermediate rotating bodies (CA1, CA3) which rotate at a rotational speed lower than the rotational speed of an input shaft A1. The switching mechanism switches "HIGH mode where the intermediate rotary bodies rotate at the rotational speed equal to the rotational speed of the input shaft A1" and "LOW mode where the intermediate rotating bodies rotate at a rotational speed lower than the rotational speed of the input shaft A1 by utilizing the sub speed reduction mechanism" selectively. The center differential distributes output of the intermediate rotating bodies to first and second output shafts A2 and A3. The intermediate rotating bodies are rotating bodies in which a planetary carrier (CA1) within a planetary gear train constituting the sub speed reduction mechanism and a planetary carrier (CA3) in a planetary gear train constituting the center differential are integrated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
