摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode active material of a desired minute particle size without executing an excessive mechanical pulverization process which causes the performance of the electrode active material to degrade. <P>SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a granular electrode active material for secondary batteries offered by the present invention, an aqueous raw material liquid is prepared which includes a raw material compound for forming an electrode active material which is dissolved or dispersed in an aqueous solvent, in which a temperature responsive polymer insoluble in water at a temperature equal to or higher than a prescribed lower limit critical melting temperature is dissolved at a temperature below the lower limit critical melting temperature. The aqueous raw material liquid thus prepared is heated to a temperature region exceeding the lower limit critical melting temperature to generate insoluble aggregates in the heated aqueous raw material liquid, and the generated aggregates are calcined to produce the electrode active material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
