<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both noise reduction and artifact reduction in reconstitution of an image based on projection data. <P>SOLUTION: The system for reconstituting an image based on projection data includes: a noise reduction device 117 for generating, in relation to measured projection data, a composed weight of a weight based on a predetermined noise model and a weight based on a predetermined window function to reduce cone angle-dependent artifact; and a reconstruction device 114 for applying the composed weight to the measured projection data while iteratively reconstructing the image by successive reconstruction method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
