<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic inspection method with which ultrasonic sizing can be performed accurately and easily even on a minute defect, an ultrasonic testing method and an ultrasonic inspection apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A holder HO holds a transmitting probe 101A capable of oblique-angle testing and a receiving probe 101B capable of vertical testing. A motor M and a guide rail GR of a move mechanism move the transmitting probe and the receiving probe. A transmitting/receiving section 102 implements a testing mode and a sizing mode. In the testing mode, testing is performed according to an oblique-angle testing method for transmitting/receiving ultrasonic waves using the transmitting probe capable of oblique-angle testing. In the sizing mode, ultrasonic waves are transmitted by the transmitting probe capable of oblique-angle testing and received by the receiving probe capable of vertical testing. A control section 103 controls the transmitting/receiving section and the move mechanism. Ultrasonic waves are made incident by the transmitting probe, a terminal echo of a terminal diffraction wave and a corner echo reflected from a corner are measured from waveforms obtained by the receiving probe, and a path difference between these echos is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
