PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the number of times an operation of returning to a normal energization mode is repeated to be reduced by an automatic decision about whether or not printing jobs should be quickly carried out when the printing jobs are included in a workflow defining that a plurality of processes are sequentially carried out.

SOLUTION: The image forming device classifies the printing jobs into either jobs giving priority to execution or jobs giving priority to power saving by analyzing the detail of each process defined in the workflow when the workflow includes the printing jobs. In the course of progress of the processes based on the workflow, when the time to carry out the printing jobs has come, when the printing jobs are jobs giving priority to the power saving and the energization condition is a power saving mode, the device stores the printing jobs. On the other hand, when the printing jobs are the jobs giving priority to execution, the device carries out printing out based on the printing jobs.
