<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust explosion responsive type dust collector in which the size is small, costs are reduced and maintenance operations can be carried out safely. <P>SOLUTION: In a dust explosion responsive type dust collector, a pleats shape filter 3 is installed within an air clarification chamber 1, dust containing air is introduced through a dust chamber 2 in an upper part of the dust collector into the pleats filter 3 and dust is collected on an inner surface of the filter. In the dust chamber 2, an openable/closable explosion pressure diffusing cover 10 is provided. In an intake duct 5 to the dust chamber 2, a check damper is provided to shut off a blast from an explosion if dust explosion occurs in the dust chamber 2. The volume of the dust chamber 2 is small, such that the area of the explosion pressure diffusing cover 10 can also be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
