<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor that can restrain the erroneous operation of an operating element for opening/closing an opening when in use. <P>SOLUTION: The electric razor 1 includes a grip 2, and a head 3 supported on the grip 2. The head 3 includes an outer blade 51; an inner blade 54 disposed on the inside of the outer blade 51 and moved relative to the outer blade 51 to cut body hair inserted in blade holes; and a space S that can retain the cut body hair. The head 3 is formed with an opening window 210 communicating with the space S, and a lid 200 for covering the opening window 210 in an openable/closable manner.
