PURPOSE: A display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent light leakage without reducing brightness by coating a white color guide panel with a black color light shielding resin. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit(100) is arranged in the lower part of a display panel(200). A guide panel(300) surrounds the side of the backlight unit. A light shielding tape(400) is adhered between the display panel and the guide panel. A black color light shielding resin(500) is coated on the surface of the guide panel. |
