<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for detecting the tip position of a medical tube capable of simply and accurately detecting the tip position of the medical tube and capable of also enhancing safety. <P>SOLUTION: The system is configured to include an object 10 to be detected formed of a soft magnetic body to be provided to the tip part of the medical tube 500, and a detector for detecting the object to be detected from the outside of a patient. The detector has a generation means 20 for externally generating a first AC magnetic field timewise changed in its direction and intensity, a detection means 30 for externally detecting the second AC magnetic field generated from the object to be detected magnetized by the first AC magnetic field generated by the generation means and an estimation means 40 for estimating the position of the object to be detected on the basis of the detection result by the detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
