IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND COLLECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase variety of arrangement of a recessed portion to be touched with a finger when an air passage part is drawn from an apparatus body and arrangement of a vent hole for venting air.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes: a body housing; an image formation unit for forming images on paper sheets provided in the body housing; a duct 72 that is provided in body housing so that the duct can be drawn and sucked air flows inside the duct; a filter that is provided inside the duct 72 to collect substances included in the air by allowing the air flowing inside the duct 72 to pass through the filter; and a front plate 710 that has a grip portion 711 fixed to the duct 72 so that a user touches the grip portion with his/her finger when drawing the duct 72 from the body housing, and an opening 7110 formed in the grip portion 711 so that the inside of the duct 72 communicates with the outside of the body housing to vent air.
