摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen which allows an observation distance to be adjusted while brightness of an image is being maintained, and further to provide a projection system using the screen. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical control layer 3 of a screen 10, a first angle region &omega; which determines diffusion distribution of reflected light is set to be different for different positions on the screen 10 regarding a control direction D1 for performing diffusion control of light. On account of this, by adjusting diffusion distribution of image light emitted from a surface of the screen 10, in response to a position on the screen 10, to be greatly inclined toward a lower side as the position is closer to an upper end UE side and to be greatly inclined toward an upper side as the position is closer to a lower end BE side, for example, a direction in which the image light is diffused and emitted is set to correspond to a position of an observer assumed with magnitude of an angle range to be diffused remaining 30&deg; without any change in angle, a projection image can be observed while brightness of an image is being maintained and an observation distance L can be adjusted to be shortened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
