ELECTROMAGNETIC MACHINE STATOR WITH JACKET FOR USE IN CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENT WITHOUT HEAT TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator that suitably operates in a corrosive environment including H2S or wet CO2.

SOLUTION: An electromagnetic machine stator with a jacket for pressurization rotary machine having a plurality of magnetic pole pieces 38 separated from a rotor through an air gap has the jacket such that a hermetic seal enclosure protecting the stator against the corrosive environment is formed of a nonmagnetic cylinder 36A having a magnetic material inlay 36B arranged matching the magnetic pole piece and not coming into contact with the corrosive environment, the hermetic seal enclosure comprising parts made of nonmagnetic materials 36A fixed to each other by a weld zone having not be exposed to any heat treatment.
