<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric power reduction equipment that allows power consumption of electrical appliances to be reduced automatically without requiring human hands. <P>SOLUTION: Electric power reduction equipment includes: a human detection sensor (11) that detects the presence or absence of a human in a predetermined range; a power supply operation determination computing means (12) that determines disconnection of power supplies of electrical appliances (2 and 3) on the basis of a detection signal from the human detection sensor; and a power supply disconnection signal transmission means (15 and 16) that transmit a signal indicating disconnection of the power supplies of the electrical appliances on the basis of a computed result from the power supply operation determination computing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
