<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid type damping force variable damper that achieves suppression or the like of power consumption during high-speed operation and generates sufficient damping force even when power is not supplied. <P>SOLUTION: Although a valve body 53 of an extension-side valve plate 41 is opened by being pressed by hydraulic oil flowing in from an extension-side first communication oil passage 36, on that occasion, the oil pressure on the upper surface side (the surface on the electromagnetic coil 43 side) and the oil pressure on the lower surface side of the valve body 53 become substantially equal in an extension-side accumulator 71 due to the interaction with the circulation of hydraulic oil in a flow control hole 52. Therefore, even when a damper 6 is operated at a high speed to the extension side and the inflow velocity of hydraulic oil from the extension-side first communication oil passage 36 is increased, it prevents excessive valve-opening of the valve body 53 of the extension-side valve plate 41. The extension-side valve plate 41 is normally biased to the valve seat surface 30b side of a piston body 30 by a valve spring 82, thereby relatively increasing its valve-opening pressure (that is, extension-side damping force). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
