METHOD FOR SIMULATION OF ACUTE PANCREATITIS

摘要

A method for simulation of acute pancreatitis in white rats involves destruction of pancreas tissue using low temperature. Through the small laparotomy wound action of Peltier thermoelectric module with area of cryocontact of 9 mm is used for 10-60 sec., this provides instantaneous generation of accurately predetermined temperature within the range of -5° to -50 °C with further occurrence of destruction in frozen pancreas section.
