The invention relates to chemico-pharmaceutical branch, in particular to a synthesis of bioactive substances of butanamide series that can be used as drug substances in the preparation of pharmaceutical preparations with diuretic and anticonvulsant activity. The object of the invention is the preparation of individual chemical compounds-(4-N-R-oxamidosulfonylbenzoloxamido)butanoic acids exhibiting expressed diuretic and anticonvulsant activity of general formula:RHNOCOCHNOSCHNHCOCONH(CH)COOH (I),wherein R=OH or CH, or CH-CH=CH, or CH-iso, or CH.
