<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor suppressing accumulation of residual potential even when charging and destaticizing are repeated, and forming an image with superior graininess. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer, in which a layer constituting the outermost surface of the photosensitive layer comprises: a crosslinked product of at least one compound selected from a guanamine compound and a melamine compound with a charge transporting material having at least one substituent selected from -OH, -OCH<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, -NH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, -SH and -COOH; fluorocarbon resin particles; an oligomer of carboxylic acids having a CF<SB POS="POST">3</SB>group as a terminal group; and a residual solvent including an alcohol solvent. When the alcohol solvent comprises an alcohol solvent having 3 or less carbon atoms, the content of the alcohol solvent is 0.1 mass% or more and 20 mass% or less with respect to the whole residual solvent; and when the alcohol solvent comprises an alcohol solvent having 4 or more carbon atoms, the content of the alcohol solvent is 0.1 mass% or more and 60 mass% or less.
