<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of reducing or eliminating flaws caused by hitting of a recording medium against regions other than an impact face of an impact face holding part or the peripheral members of the impact face holding part by impact of an impact type recording head. <P>SOLUTION: An impact type rear face recording part 20 includes: a holding unit 50 which holds a sheet; and an impact type impact recording head 51 which carries out printing by impact at a face (rear face) to be an opposite side to a holding face (surface) that the holding unit 50 holds. A guide roller 63 is arranged at the downstream side in the conveying direction Y of the holding unit 50.
