<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of preventing electrolytic corrosion. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes an electric motor and a short circuit 64. The electric motor includes: a shaft; a rotor fixed to the shaft; a stator portion for storing the rotor; bearing inner rings fixed to the shaft and having the same potential as the shaft; bearing outer rings forming pairs with the bearing inner rings; and brackets 6, 7 interposed between the stator portion and the bearing outer rings to support the bearing outer rings and having the same potential as the bearing outer rings. The short circuit 64 electrically connects the bearing inner rings to the bearing outer rings through the brackets 6, 7 to put the bearing inner rings and the bearing outer rings in a conductive state but in a nonconductive state to the ground. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
