<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and highly reliable seismic isolator rotation control mechanism for controlling rotational rigidity of a pile head joint part with respect to a pile head bending moment generated in an earthquake, and not generating harmful rotation in a seismic isolator. <P>SOLUTION: A pile cap 3 and a pile cap fixing part 7 are joined by a joint reinforcement 9, and the joint reinforcement 9 includes a first joint reinforcement part 9a fixed to concrete 19 inside the pile cap 3, a second joint reinforcement part 9b fixed to the concrete 19 inside a foundation pile 4, and a rotation amount control part 6 provided in a pile head joint part 12 for forming a hinge by a tension yield inside when tensile force generated in the joint reinforcement 9 by the pile head bending moment exceeds a prescribed value. The rotational rigidity of the pile head joint part 12 is reduced to the prescribed value by the hinge inside the rotation amount control part 6, and the rotation amount of a seismic isolator 2 in an earthquake is controlled to be within an allowable rotation amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
