<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring device for improving range finding accuracy within a distance range requested to a device and realizing output value-distance conversion for which individual variation of a sensor is corrected, a distance measuring method, and a display device including the distance measuring device. <P>SOLUTION: The distance measuring device includes: an adjustment part 21 for performing offset correction according to an output value at the longest distance within the distance range requested to the device, in a PSD sensor 20 in which the output value and the distance have inversely proportional relation; an amplification part 22 for performing gain correction according to an output value at the shortest distance in the distance range requested to the device; and a calculation part 23 for measuring an output value at the middle distance, obtaining a characteristic curve intrinsic to a range-finding sensor on the basis of the output values at three points of the longest distance, the shortest distance and the middle distance, and calculating a distance to a measuring object by applying the output value of the PSD sensor 20 to the characteristic curve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
