摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify each individual user of an appropriate refuge destination and a refuge route thereto as support to refuge from a tsunami menacing user's present position when the relative safety of every geographical point varies over time.

SOLUTION: A refuge-from-tsunami supporting apparatus for supporting each user who carries a communication terminal in user's refuge travel from a tsunami sets a score of multiple indicators related to the safety level on the basis of present position information, user's walking or running speed, map information and expected arrival time and with the refuge travel time of the user needing refuge taken into consideration, calculates a predictable safety level indicating the level of safety at each point on a map from the score of multiple indicators, generates a refuge destination candidate and a refuge route candidate from a present position indicated by the present position information on the user needing refuge to the refuge destination candidate on the basis of the predictable safety level at each point on the map, and transmits to the user-carried communication terminal the generated refuge destination candidate and the refuge route candidate via a network. And a destination where the predictable safety level surpasses a first threshold is prescribed as the refuge destination candidate.
