<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler for preventing whistling sound due to a flame lift of a surface combustion burner and resultant noise with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This boiler includes: a combustion furnace 1 having a combustion chamber 2 including the surface combustion burner 4 formed in the upper section and horizontally extended, and a square box-shaped heat exchange chamber 3 formed below to allow a combustion gas to flow down; and a smoke chamber box 15 disposed below the heat exchange chamber 3 to allow a combustion gas passing through the heat exchange chamber 3, to flow therein. The smoke chamber box 15 has a right-triangle shape in a side view, having a vertical wall 15b vertically hung from one side of a lower section of the heat exchange chamber 3 to a bottom section 15a, an inclined wall 15c gradually approaching a vertical wall 15b side from an opposite side section of the side section toward the bottom section 15a, and an end wall 15d closing both ends between the vertical wall and the inclined wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
