<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swimming method based on a new idea, which allows swimming at a swimmer's own pace, or recovery of physical power while swimming. <P>SOLUTION: In the SS (swing screw) swimming method which allows a swimmer to swim slowly yet efficiently with reduced burden on the body by using the rotating force of the body in crawl stroke as a basic thrust, swimming is ecologically performed using a thrust obtained by rotating the body fast to about 60-90° in crawl stroke and swinging the arms to make a stroke, a screw effect-based thrust obtained by helically inserting the arms into water like a screw or helically crossing the feet, and a thrust by kicking of the feet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
