<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated from the vicinity of a discharge port of a swirl chamber without affecting a swirling airflow inside the swirl chamber in a cyclone separator. <P>SOLUTION: The cyclone separator includes: a secondary swirl chamber 42 for swirling dust-containing air which flows in from a secondary inflow port 41 and separating dust from the dust-containing air; a secondary dust collecting chamber 44 for collecting the dust separated in the secondary swirl chamber 42; and a secondary discharge pipe 29 provided so as to be projected inside the secondary swirl chamber 42. On the secondary discharge pipe 29, a secondary discharge port 45 for discharging air inside the secondary swirl chamber 42 is formed.
