<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp unit which enables a cabin illuminating lamp module and a switch module switching the cabin illuminating lamp module to be arranged flexibly at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: An illuminating LED module 11, a switch module 12, first and second male tab modules 14a, 14b, a control module 13, and an indication light emitting LED module 15 which are formed in a standardized shape for each module are prepared in a plurality of numbers. At least the illuminating LED module 11, the switch module 12, and the first male tab module 14a are attached to the housing of each of a plurality of types of lamp units, and the control module 13, the indication light emitting LED module 15, and the second male tab module 14b are selectively attached to the housing 16.
