<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing costs while simplifying the manufacturing processes and achieve the downsizing and the weight reduction, not to mention securing the heat radiation performance in a control unit, in a structure connecting a housing member for housing the control unit in a motor case. <P>SOLUTION: A motor case 41, formed by press molding a steel plate into a cylindrical part and where a stator core 42 is fixed to the interior thereof, is provided, and a bracket 48, rotatably supporting the tip side of a rotation shaft 46 fixed to a rotor 45, is provided at one axial side of the motor case 41. An aluminium housing member 51, housing a control unit 52 drive-controlling the rotor 45 and formed into a cup shape, is formed at the other axial side of the motor case 41, and the control unit 52 includes a power system substrate 53 disposed at the bottom part 51b side of the housing member 51 and a control system substrate 54 disposed at the opening side of the housing member 51.
