PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning apparatus capable of reducing power consumption by using a more suitable operation condition in each positioning place.

SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a satellite positioning part for performing positioning on the basis of a positioning signal received from a positioning satellite; an environment information acquisition part for acquiring environment information inherent in a present position; a receiving information acquisition part for acquiring receiving information indicating a state of the positioning signal on the present position on the basis of the environment information; and an operation condition setting part for setting an operation condition of the satellite positioning part on the basis of the receiving information.
