<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle that can completely set a temperature of air supplied into a cabin at a setting temperature by ensuring a heat discharge amount required for a radiator during dehumidification cooling operation. <P>SOLUTION: When a calculated opening degree SW of an air mix damper 16 is not less than a predetermined opening degree, a valve opening degree of a first control valve 24 is set to be smaller than when the opening degree SW is below the predetermined opening degree. Accordingly, when a heating amount in a radiator 15 is insufficient during cooling operation or dehumidification cooling operation, a condensation pressure of refrigerant in the radiator 15 is raised to increase a temperature of the radiator 15.
