摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a large-sized Cu-Ga alloy slab while sufficiently suppressing cracking, in a method of manufacturing a Cu-Ga alloy slab made of Cu-Ga alloy by melting and casting. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for Cu-Ga alloy slab, molten metal of Cu-Ga alloy is obtained in a crucible 1 by heating the crucible 1 to a predetermined casting temperature under reduced pressure. Next, the molten metal 5 in the crucible 1 is tapped from a tapping hole 12. The molten metal 5 tapped from the tapping hole 12 is temporarily stored in a storage tank 3 through an inflow hole 32, and overflows from a discharge hole 33 to be discharged from the storage tank 3. Then, the molten metal 5 discharged overflowing from the discharge hole 33 of the storage tank 3 is poured into a mold 2 through a pouring hole 22. The pouring amount of the molten metal to the mold 2 and a casting temperature are controlled so that the amount Q<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of slab heat and the amount Q<SB POS="POST">2</SB>of the mold heat satisfy Q<SB POS="POST">1</SB>/Q<SB POS="POST">2</SB>&le;4.7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
