<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting mold capable of casting slabs in a plurality of shapes different in thickness. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a continuous casting mold 10 capable of casting slabs having N kinds of thicknesses by arranging N kinds of short sides 13a and 14a, and 13b and 14b having widths corresponding to thicknesses of the slabs to be cast in replaceable states between long sides 11 and 12 arranged opposite each other, and pouring molten steel into a mold space part V formed in a vertically through state. Then, N division gradient regions L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and L<SB POS="POST">3</SB>vertically communicating with the opposite sides 11 and 12 except top parts are formed, wherein the division gradient region L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>formed at a bottom part is formed in or substantially in conformity with coagulation shrinkage profiles of slabs formed with the short sides 13 and 14 having the least width, and the division gradient regions L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and L<SB POS="POST">3</SB>formed in order at upper positions of the division gradient region L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>at the bottom part are formed in steps in or substantially in conformity with coagulation shrinkage profiles on coagulation start sides of slabs formed with the short sides 13a and 14a, and 13b and 14b having sequentially wider widths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
