<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily synchronize data even when a user event occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A computing device performing synchronization of target data with another computing device through a network comprises: a local storage device which stores the target data; synchronization means which synchronizes the target data stored in the local storage device with the target data stored in a storage device of the other computing device; and user event detection means which detects a prescribed event caused by a user operation.
