<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal vibrator and a crystal oscillator that can prevent characteristics from deteriorating to improve reliability by preventing metal waste from sticking on a crystal piece when a package is sealed. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the crystal vibrator and crystal oscillator having a ceramic package sealed by forming a metallized layer 13 at an upper end part of a side wall 12 of a ceramic package mounted with a crystal piece 2, forming a seal ring 140 having a thickness thinner than the thickness of a package side wall over the metallized layer 13, mounting a lid 30, substantially inscribed in the seal ring 140, inside the seal ring 140 and in a blank region where the seal ring 140 is not formed over the metallized layer 13, and welding a side face inside the seal ring 140 and a side face outside the lid 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
