A synchronous generator with a combined excitation has a stator with a winding, a star-shaped rotor having radially magnetized magnets with polar tips mounted on a ferromagnetic bush installed coaxially with the rotor shaft; excitation coils encircled by a circular magnetic core having a C-like cross-section, whose internal parts are directed to the rotor shaft and located stationary on both sides of the rotor; moreover, between the ferromagnetic bush and rotor shaft a non-magnetic hub is mounted, the excitation coils are located in the hub area, the external parts of magnetic core are directed to the end parts of ferromagnetic bush. |
