<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose a failure of an input circuit provided in a pre-stage of a processor for performing processing necessary for charge control on the basis of a pilot signal. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control device for, when a vehicle chargeable by an external power supply is connected to the external power supply through a charge cable, receiving a pilot signal before power feeding from the charge cable, includes: a processor for performing processing necessary for charge control on the basis of the pilot signal; an input circuit provided in a pre-stage of an input port of the processor; and a pseudo signal supply circuit for supplying a pseudo pilot signal to a pilot signal line extending from a pilot signal input terminal to the input circuit, according to control by the processor. The processor performs a failure diagnosis of the input circuit on the basis of a signal state of the input port when controlling the pseudo signal supply circuit to supply the pseudo pilot signal to the pilot signal line, as failure diagnosis processing of the input circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
