<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device to be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: The brake device includes: a damper for braking a braking target; a push rod for advancing and retreating the damper in a direction toward the braking target; and a gap adjustment mechanism for adjusting the initial positions of the damper and the push rod. The gap adjustment mechanism includes: a control section 41 having a control surface 66 facing an opposite side to a braking direction damper side X1; an operation member 42 whose movement is controlled by contacting the control surface 66 as the push rod advances towards the braking side in the braking direction, thereby enabling relative movement with respect to the push rod towards the opposite side X2 to the braking direction; and a position adjustment section which, when the push rod advances towards the braking side in the braking direction, and the operation member relatively moves with respect to the push rod, changes an initial position of the push rod according to the relative movement amount of the operation member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
