<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely attenuate the leakage of electron beams (X-rays). <P>SOLUTION: Outer and inner surface sterilization zones Z2 and Z3 are provided for sterilizing a container by irradiating the container with electron beams from the inside and outside of the container, respectively, while conveying the container along first to third turn lines L1 to L3 within first to third shield rooms R1 to R3. Fourth to sixth turn lines L4 to L6 are connected to an exit trap zone Z4 installed in third to fourth connection opening parts P3 to P4 of the inner surface sterilization zone Z3. Fourth to sixth shield rooms R4 to R6 are provided for accommodating the fourth to sixth turn lines L4 to L6, respectively. First to third inner peripheral shield S1 to S3 each comprised of a metallic shield are installed, respectively, along the inner peripheral parts of the first to third turn lines L1 to L3 of the outer and inner surface sterilization zones Z2 and Z3. Fourth and fifth inner peripheral shields S4 and S5 each comprised of a metallic shield are installed, respectively, along the inner peripheral parts of the fourth turn line L4 connected to the exit trap zone Z4 and of the fifth turn line L5 connected to the fourth turn line L4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
